Built for Growing Research Environments: Why Solvias Chose the BVC Aspiration System

BRANDTECH Scientific recently partnered with global contract research organization Solvias as part of a major laboratory expansion, supporting advanced analytical and testing workflows. To equip the growing facility, Solvias selected 12 VACUUBRAND BVC Fluid Aspiration Systems to support daily liquid handling applications across a wide range of research activities.

Solvias provides chemistry, manufacturing, and controls analytical solutions that help accelerate commercialization for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Their scientific teams specialize in biologics, cell and gene therapies, and small molecule development, delivering comprehensive testing services from raw materials through final product analysis. In fast-paced laboratory environments where efficiency and reliability are critical, dependable fluid aspiration systems help researchers maintain consistent workflows and improve productivity.

The Solvias team was already familiar with BRADNTECH equipment from an earlier installation completed when their Research Triangle Park, North Carolina location first opened. Following an additional product demonstration, the team confirmed that the BVC would be the right fit for their expanding laboratory operations and evolving workflow requirements.

Several features helped distinguish the BVC from other aspiration options. The integrated vacuum pump provides reliable performance, while adjustable aspiration speed control allows each user to tailor operation to their specific application. Researchers also valued the flexibility of the hand controller adapters, which support aspiration from a variety of vessels including microplates and flasks. Together, these features provide the versatility and ease of use needed to support demanding laboratory environments for years to come.
