VACUU·LAN® Lab Vacuum Systems
Compact, quiet, oil-free pumps support multiple vacuum users with no copper pipe! The modular technology is scalable from a single bench to complete labs, and full-building installation or replacement of a central vacuum system.
VACUU·LAN lab vacuum systems produce vacuum on-demand, resulting in energy savings and reduced system maintenance compared to traditional central vacuum systems that run 24/7.
VACUU·LAN lab vacuum systems use an oil-free, compact VACUUBRAND pump to support multiple vacuum ports in a lab, and combine the space efficiency of a central vacuum system with the process isolation achieved with individual workstation pumps. A single pump can support up to 20 simultaneous users and provide vacuum as deep as 2 mbar (1.5 torr).
VACUU·LAN lab vacuum systems have become the preferred choice of leading architectural and engineering firms, educational institutions, and research organizations.
VACUU·LAN lab vacuum systems provide technical advantages for scientists working in the lab and produce significant benefits to facility managers, architects, builders, and installers.
The system is plumbed quickly and easily with PTFE tubing and compression fittings – no copper pipe! Specialized fixtures with integrated check valves provide vacuum stability and support multiple users. Automated pumps speed up and slow down as needed to meet user demand, and go into sleep mode when there is no demand on the system. Our demand-responsive automated pumps allow users to set the vacuum depth to suit their scientific needs, to as deep as 2 mbar (29.86 in Hg).
VACUU-LAN® systems combine a modular vacuum network design with precision VACUUBRAND components. Every element—from pumps to fixtures to plumbing—is designed to ensure outstanding performance, reliability, and adaptability for today’s dynamic lab environments.
VACUU·LAN systems use durable, PTFE chemical-resistant tubing, and PVDF fittings to deliver years of reliable performance. Copper pipe traditionally used in vacuum systems corrodes over time and leads to loss of vacuum and contamination problems. With flexible tubing and compression fittings, installation is far faster and easier than a copper-piped system.
